E-mail is one of the most widely used tools for business communication. It's easy to use. It's cheap. It's ubiquitous. Unfortunately, it's often the target of attacks. Attackers can exploit e-mail to gain control over your organization, access confidential information, or disrupt IT access to resources. In this class you'll learn basic steps you can take to protect against malicious actors. Topics will include:

  • Simulated phishing/recognizing malicious emails
  • Multifactor authentication
  • Conditional access
  • Email verification
  • Hovering
  • Backups
