Development Directors Roundtable

Spokes roundtables are facilitated, peer networking and problem-solving opportunities. At the start of the roundtable, participants introduce themselves and share some good news or something that’s “keeping them up at night.” They may also offer a “spotlight topic” for consideration during the course of the 60 to 90 minute session.

A hallmark of the roundtables is confidentiality. The explicit norm is “what’s said in the roundtable stays in the roundtable.” This encourages mutual support and a candid exchange of ideas.

Facilitator: Susannah Brown
Susannah has served with various nonprofits in many roles and currently is the CFO/Treasurer and Development Director of the Central Coast Childbirth Network where she leads their donor relations and fundraising efforts. Susannah was born and raised in San Luis Obispo County and is inspired to advocate for and support the local community. In addition to her nonprofit and community work, she also is an experienced analytics and data science professional. She has an MS in Analytics, a BS in Business Administration and Human Resource Management and a certificate for Financial Success for Nonprofits (including grant writing). She has expertise in budgeting, internal auditing, strategic management, financial-based decision making, and statistical analysis.
