Many organizations are worthy of funding and worthy to receive grants but not all are “grant worthy” meaning they don’t look good enough on paper. There are several reasons this can be so, from financials that are incomplete to confusing narratives. Or your potential funder may not be familiar with your model of operation. Anything that makes a potential funder unsure of your organizational capacity can be a stumbling block.

This training will take you through the process of getting your organization or your project well positioned for grants as you embark on the grant funding process. Whether you are just starting your grant solicitation program or have been doing it for years. This training will help you to:

  • Create a strategy around your requests.
  • Eliminate any issues funders may frown upon or question.
  • Fine tune your narratives.
  • Cross check your financials and budgets.
  • Refine how you message your program or project offerings.
  • Eliminate issues or red flags that can put you in the questionable funding category.
