The COVID-19 crisis has plunged the world into a situation never experienced before and seems to be wreaking havoc on the nonprofit sector. You might be feeling at the end of your rope while facing new realities caused by sheltering-in-place and fear of coronavirus. Perhaps you are experiencing feelings of disorientation, sadness, fear, and even hopelessnss. You might have more work responsibilities than ever that seem to be coming at you from every angle. You might not have access to the files you need while having deadlines to meet. Perhaps founder still wants to see outputs and outcomes but reaching clients is off limits. Or your situation might be that all work responsbiities were suddenly taken away leaving you feeling useless and disoriented. You might be at home all alone facing lonely and isolated or being constantly surrounded by people with responsibibiliities for homeschooling, food preparations, household maintenance, work, and on and on. Perhaps most significantly, you feel responsible for employees or others and no one knows when, if, or how, this COVID-19 situation will end.

You could be experiencing feelings you’ve never had before and yet you don’t quite know what to do with these emotions. This workshop will help you identify and manage personal stress while you balance support for others. In this workshop you will learn

  • *What stress is in general and emotional stress in particular
  • *Identify stressors you might be facing while sheltering-in-place
  • *How to manage stress and personal wellness
  • *How to find a balance for yourself while supporting others

You will learn steps to deal with your stress and gain resources to help you cope.
