Congratulations! You have volunteers excited to work towards your mission. Now, how do you keep them? If you are looking to lay the foundation for a successful volunteer program and are ready to motivate, inspire, and retain your organization’s volunteers, this class is for you!

Participants are encouraged to attend the companion intermediate level training “Volunteer Management Clinic” on May 19.

This Session 2 follow-up class is composed of a short presentation followed by questions and comments from the group. Attendees are encouraged to bring issues and questions for the instructor and other attendees to discuss.

Facilitated by Rachel Cementina. A San Luis Obispo local, Rachel was first introduced to volunteer management as a member of the local AmeriCorps program. That position led to coordinating volunteer opportunities of all sizes - from ongoing boards and committees to large one-day volunteer events. She now serves as the Membership and Marketing Director at the SLO County YMCA, is an ambassador for the SLO Chamber of Commerce, and a volunteer manager for God's Storehouse food pantry.
