New!: Social Media Basics for Nonprofits

In this engaging new workshop, we will discuss the top social media sites (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, Pinterest, SnapChat and more!) and find out which sites are used for Nonprofit operations and which ones to reconsider. Class time will be spent discussing how to use them, and which platforms will cater to your particular nonprofit. You will participate in exercises to see which of the ideas would work best for your nonprofit and will get detailed guidelines to implement the right ideas. Walk away with a quick plan to immediately implement at least one or more ideas to reach your organization's goals.

In this class you will learn how to:

-Use different social media platforms for advertising your nonprofits goals.

-Select the right social media platform to connect with the people who want to know about your nonprofit.

-Get strategic recommendations to save time and maximize results with the least effort.

-Create effective postings while using best practices for nonprofit management.

-Expand the visibility of your nonprofit mission by using the correct social media platforms.
