Welcome to Spokes first Nonprofit Symposium. Get ready for an action-packed, hands-on professional workday, where you will learn, collaborate, grow, and walk away with practical, timely tools to enhance your nonprofit. This full-day symposium will feature two exciting hands-on workshops.  Nonprofits from multiple areas throughout California will be invited to collaborate and learn with us while they enjoy our beautiful San Luis Obispo County area for the weekend. 

Registration:  8:30 a.m. - 9:00 p.m.

Workshop #1:  9 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.  The Happy Healthy NonprofitLinking Self-Care and Wellbeing to Organization Impact.  

-- You will get practical assessments and techniques for developing a life-work balance plan as you learn about the big return on investment (ROI) that happens when your nonprofit prioritizes self-care and well-being in the workplace.

Lunch (Included):  12:00 p.m. - 1:00 p.m.

Workshop #2 1:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m.  Nonprofit Digital Resilience:  The Secret Sauce to Creating a Digital Strategy for Nonprofit Marketing and Fundraising.

-- Social media, mobile phone adoption, new digital payment methods, bots?  With so many free and low-cost tools out there, how do you decide where to invest your time and resources to get the most impact in reaching donors?  Find out in this interactive workshop where you will gain a practical strategy for your digital marketing and fundraising program.
