Congratulations! You have volunteers excited to work towards your mission. Now, how do you keep them? If you are looking to lay the foundation for a successful volunteer program and are ready to motivate, inspire, and retain your organization’s volunteers, this class is for you! This class is composed of a series of short, interactive topics designed to help grow or strengthen your volunteer program.

Sessions are composed of a short presentation followed by questions and comments from the group. Attendees are encouraged to bring issues and questions for the instructor and other attendees to discuss. If you have specific topics or questions you would like to have the class address, please send them to our instructor, Rachel before the class (rcementina@unitedwayslo.org).

Instructor: Rachel Cementina
A San Luis Obispo local, Rachel first came to United Way in 2008 as an AmeriCorps member. In her current role as Community Engagement Director, she manages both long term and one day volunteer programs like KidSpree, Stuff the Bus and Youth Board. In her free time, she enjoys baking, finding new craft projects on Pinterest, and is involved with youth ministry at her church.
